EAMS: EAMS (Emergency Asset Management System) is a web-based application that allows emergency resources to be allocated before, during or after a disaster. The Federal Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS), both demand that accurate inventories of needed assets be available and kept up to date – and be in electronic format – or HSD funding will not be released to communities.
